This high-stakes licensure exam serves as the gateway for graduates to legally practice as civil engineers. For the institutions involved, the results also serve as a benchmark of excellence, with several universities achieving impressive performance metrics. Notably, the University of the Philippines-Los Baños achieved a perfect 100 percent passing rate, with all 75 of its examinees successfully passing the board requirements.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the examinations were held on September 26 and 27, 2026. While thousands celebrated their success, the PRC noted that the results for eight examinees have been withheld pending a final determination of their liabilities under current licensure regulations. Among the top-performing schools with at least 50 examinees, De La Salle University-Manila, the University of Pangasinan, and Pangasinan State University-Urdaneta also recorded passing rates exceeding 80 percent.
The successful examinees now await the official oath-taking ceremonies to formally enter the profession. Those interested can review the complete list of successful candidates through official channels provided by the Professional Regulation Commission.
