Singapore Airlines is shaking up its cabin service by rolling out more than 100 new and refreshed appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The airline is transforming the passenger experience through a major update to its in-flight dining program, which includes everything from custom-designed Christofle serviceware to exclusive Japanese blended whisky from the Komoro Distillery. These changes will be fully unveiled in Singapore in November 2026, marking a significant investment in the airline's end-to-end travel experience.
The update matters for passengers because it addresses evolving dining trends and customer feedback by combining comfort food with elevated culinary techniques. Whether passengers are flying Economy or Suites, the shift toward regional favorites and reimagined classics—such as Beef Short Rib Sambal Percik or Roasted Chicken Breast with Black Pepper Sauce—is designed to make the onboard environment more memorable.
According to Singapore Airlines, the new "SIA Chefs’ Selection" menu category was developed in collaboration with both in-house staff and prominent guest chefs, including Monica Galetti, Nandu Jubany, and Sanjeev Kapoor. The presentation in premium cabins will feature custom-designed Christofle serviceware that incorporates a reinterpretation of the airline's signature batik motif, while cabin crew will be tasked with recommending specific beverage pairings for selected dishes. The airline is also expanding its wine and spirit selections across every cabin class.
This refresh represents one pillar of a broader investment strategy by the airline. Beyond the plate, the company is concurrently upgrading its next-generation cabin products, enhancing its KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system, and boosting connectivity and ground services to ensure a cohesive luxury travel standard.
