The draw holds significance for Liverpool's Premier League campaign, especially with the return of two key players to the lineup. Alexander Isak and Dominik Szoboszlai were back in the starting eleven after dealing with respective fitness issues, bolstering Liverpool's attacking and midfield options for the fixture at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Liverpool made six changes to their starting lineup from their midweek win over LASK in Austria. Cody Gakpo, despite being available, was named on the bench for the match. The full Liverpool XI featured Alisson in goal, with Van Dijk, Jacquet, Kerkez, and Wirtz across the back line, while Szoboszlai anchored midfield alongside Mac Allister. Isak, Munoz, Barcola, and Araujo led the attack for the Reds.
